THE BEGINNING OF FRIENDS
Formal fundraising for Santa Claus, Inc. began in 1952, with the first Christmas Tree Lane event being hosted in 1962. In recent years the increased need for services necessitated the creation of a separate non-profit corporation whose sole purpose is to focus on fundraising.
In September, 2013, Friends of Santa Claus, Inc. was formed to facilitate fundraising needs.

Dear Friends,
It’s with great sadness that we must announce the cancellation of our 2020 Christmas Tree Lane. This has been a hard decision to make and announce and honestly one that we have no control over. We know that this event is a traditional gathering for so many in our community.
We will miss seeing each and every one of you this holiday season.
In the midst of this pandemic we realize that the needs of our community still exist and have grown greater due to the pandemic. Even socially distanced we can still accomplish great things…Because bottom line…We won’t let the MAGIC of Christmas and the spirit of Santa diminish!
We stand by our mission and we will continue to fulfill those needs.
Friends of Santa Claus, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial support to organizations dedicated to meeting the needs of underprivileged families
in both San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
